Michael “Bubba” Abbott
Michael is currently serving in his first term as City Alderman. He has been in the grocery business since 1965 and is now the store manager at Food-Rite in Trenton. He graduated from Peabody High School and attended the University of Tennessee of Martin. Michael is actively involved with many community projects including Chairman of Relay for Life in 2006 and 2007, Chairman of the Teapot Festival for 2008, Partners in Education, the Taste of LeBonheur, the Elks Club, Rotary, and is an active supporter of the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
Michael and his wife Kathy live at 133 Lynmark Street and attend the First Presbyterian Church where he is an Elder. They have a daughter, Cicily, and a son-in-law Clint who also live in Trenton. |

Frank Gibson
Frank is serving as City Alderman for the second time since 1999. He is a graduate of Peabody High School and received a B.S. in Education from Bethel College in 1966. Frank retired with 40 years of experience as a science teacher and basketball coach after working for the Gibson County and Trenton School Districts.
He is a member of the Gibson County and Bethel College Sports Hall of Fame and has been chairman of the Elks annual Hoop Shoot for the past 35 years. He also serves as a member of the Planning and Zoning Appeals Board.
Frank and his wife of 44 years, Sandra reside at 304 Rosemark Drive and attend the First Presbyterian Church. Frank likes to fish in his spare time. |

Joe Hammonds
Joe is currently in his second term as a City Alderman being first elected in 2004. He is retired from Procter and Gamble after 28 years of service. Joe graduated from Jackson City Schools and received a B.S. Degree from Union University in 1966. Joe is a member of the Trenton Health Care Foundation and also is active in Nite Lite Theater of Gibson County. Joe is an accomplished singer and is an active member of the First Baptist Church.
He and his wife Lynda live at 1002 South College Street where they raised 3 children, Tonya, Jeff, and Joseph. They also have 5 grandchildren who take up a lot of Joe’s time. |

Ricky Jackson
Ricky has been an alderman since 1995 and currently also serves as City Treasurer. He is retired from the Tennessee National Guard. Ricky also serves on the Planning Commission for the City of Trenton. He is a graduate of Peabody High School and Dyersburg State Community College.
Ricky lives at 215 Halliburton Street and he and his family attend Union United Methodist Church. His hobbies are golf and travel. |

Jim Overall
Jim is also in his second term as Alderman for the City of Trenton. He is co-owner of Medical Health Specialists of Tennessee. Jim also serves as a member of the Gibson County Commission, a member of the Trenton Special School District Board of Trustees, and serves on the board of directors of Security Bank. He is a graduate of Peabody High School and Dyersburg State Community College.
Jim and his wife, Dianne live at 508 South College Street with their daughter Marci. They attend the Trenton Church of Christ. |
